Corn grits making machine is the equipment that can process corn kernels into corn grits and corn flour. Nowadays, corn grits and corn flour are the most common forms of corn consumed in people’s daily lives. Because ground corn is easy to eat and digest and can be further processed into foodstuff. Therefore, the corn grits machine has become popular in the market.
To meet the needs of different customers, we have produced five different models of maize grit milling machines. They differ in terms of output, appearance, and function. People can use the corn threshing machine to process the corn first and then proceed to further processing.
Sructure for corn grits processing machine

1. Corn Cleaning Machine
Core Function: To remove impurities from raw corn and provide clean grain for subsequent processing.
It acts as the pre-filter of the entire production line, thoroughly removing impurities such as stones, dust, corn cobs and moldy grains from raw unprocessed corn.
Technological Process:
Air Separation & Dust Removal: By utilizing fan airflow, light impurities like dust, husk scraps and shrivelled grains in corn are sucked away into the dust collection system.
Vibrating Screening: Multi-layer screens with different pore sizes separate impurities larger than corn grains (e.g. stones, straws) and smaller impurities (e.g. fine sand, broken grains).
Specific Gravity Grading: Leveraging the density difference of materials, heavy impurities such as stones are completely separated from plump corn kernels, protecting subsequent equipment from damage.
Processing Effect: The treated corn grains are plump and impurity-free, ready to directly enter the next peeling process.
2. Corn Peeling Machine
Core Function: To strip the outer husk and part of the germ of corn, laying a foundation for corn grits production.
This machine peels off the hard outer seed coat of cleaned corn kernels, and removes part of the oil-rich germ at the same time, preventing the finished corn grits from oxidation and deterioration.
Technological Process:
Feeding & Friction Peeling: Corn kernels enter the peeling chamber. Between the high-speed rotating emery roller and screen cylinder, the outer husk is stripped through extrusion, friction and kneading.
Air Separation & Husking: The fan sucks the stripped corn husks and bran scraps into collection bags to separate husks from corn kernels.
Whole Kernel Discharging: Peeled whole corn kernels are discharged from the outlet with intact grains and few broken pieces, then directly conveyed to the grits making machine.
Process Features: Dry peeling is mostly adopted with no water addition required. It features a high peeling rate, minimal broken grains, and well-preserved integrity of corn kernels.
3. Corn Grits Making Machine
Core Function: To crush and grade peeled corn kernels into corn grits of various specifications.
As the core equipment of the production line, it processes corn kernels into multiple products including coarse grits, medium grits, fine grits and corn flour, realizing multi-purpose use of one machine.
Technological Process:
Crushing & Germ Removing: Peeled corn kernels enter the crushing chamber. Under the shearing and extrusion force of toothed rollers or grinding discs, they are crushed into particles of different sizes, with residual germs further removed.
Multi-stage Screening & Grading: Built-in multi-layer vibrating screens automatically classify crushed materials by particle size:
Large particles: Circulate back to the crushing chamber for reprocessing
Corn grits of different specifications: Discharged separately from corresponding outlets

For peeling part

1. First, clean the raw corn to remove impurities like stones and straw.
2. Use friction components (such as sand rollers or iron rollers) to rub the corn kernels, breaking the hard outer coat.
3. Separate the peeled coat from the kernels via a negative pressure wind system or vibrating sieve.
4. Advantages: No water consumption, low energy cost, and suitability for areas with dry raw materials (moisture content 12%-15%).

It is a top grade technology corn grits making machine. It is composed of four systems: peeling system, grinding system, grading system and dust removal system. This machine breaks the convention.
