Introduction for corn grits making machine
Corn grits making machine is a specialized grain processing equipment designed for corn peeling, crushing, and grits production. It can process corn kernels into corn grits and corn flour of various particle sizes.
Working Principle
The corn grits making machine mainly consists of four core systems: the peeling system, crushing system, grading system, and air network dust removal system. When corn kernels enter the peeling chamber from the hopper, they move toward the outlet under the rotational push of the propelling ribs. As the volume of the working chamber gradually decreases and mechanical resistance acts, the density between corn kernels increases, enhancing the extrusion and friction inside the machine, which gradually removes the outer skin of the corn kernels. The fully peeled corn kernels then enter the crushing system, where they are crushed by the traction-type clutch crushing device. Subsequently, they enter the grading system for automatic separation, resulting in corn flour, coarse corn grits, and fine corn grits.

The processed corn grits are uniform in size, free of sharp edges, bright in color and excellent in taste, which can be directly sold in supermarkets, grain and oil markets.

Capacity customization is available, with multiple specifications ranging from 300 kg/h to 4000 kg/h to precisely match your production scale requirements.

Main Functions and Features
Versatility:
The corn grits making machine integrates multiple functions including cleaning, peeling, germ removal, root removal, black navel removal, crushing, grit extraction, grading, polishing, and refinement. It can complete the preliminary processing of corn in one pass.
High Efficiency & Energy Saving:
Adopting dry peeling technology, the equipment requires no water addition, avoiding machine stalling and material adhesion caused by wet processing. Meanwhile, it is equipped with an air network dust removal system to ensure a clean working environment.
Operating Procedures
Raw Material Preparation:
First, moisten the surface of corn kernels (add approximately 3 catties of water to 100 catties of corn). Letting it stand for about 10 minutes after moistening will yield better results.
Peeling Process:
Pour the moistened corn into the peeling hopper, adjust the peeling pressure handle, and start feeding.
Crushing & Grits Making:
Pour the peeled corn into the crushing hopper, and adjust the crushing handle to achieve the desired particle size.
Finished Product Output:
Three types of finished products with different particle sizes—coarse grits, fine grits, and corn flour—are obtained from the finished product outlet

Corn bran is an important by-product in the corn processing process. It has expanded from a traditional feed raw material to multiple high-value fields such as food and environmental protection materials.
